Do you wish to learn how to build a professional website yourself for your small business or a blogging website for personal use? We offer website design courses / classes here at Spectracolor in Simi Valley, CA.
We will teach you how to build an awesome wordpress website from scratch. Wordpress is one of the best and fastest growing platform for new websites. It is easy to use and has tons of features that no other platform offers.
The website design course consists of 8 classes each class being 1 – 1.5 hours. By the time you are done with all 8 classes, you’ll be able to design a website yourself.

- Explanation of Wordpress
- Installation of Wordpress on your hosting provider
- Themes (both free and premium themes)
- Page Creation
- Menu Building
- Blog Post Creation
- Plugins Explanation (such as contact forms)

- Tweaking Website
- User Roles
We limit 3 students maximum for each classes so you’ll receive friendly one on one learning experience and be able to ask questions and have it answered.
The classes starts everyday at 7:15pm during weekdays, twice a week. 8 Classes total in 4 weeks period. (At our store located in Sycamore Plaza in Simi Valley, CA) The students will be given access to power and wifi for their laptops.
***Student must be fairly comfortable with computers in general. Meaning, we should be able to teach you how to make a website not how to use the computer. If you are comfortable with facebook and microsoft word, that will be fine.
***Student must have a domain (can be purchased from godaddy.com)
***Student must have a hosting account (We recommend either godaddy or bluehost)
